What are the best and worst AI moves you've seen?

I've played quite some games in single player against AI opponents and I am impressed by their performance. As an experienced player, I definitely see some of my mistakes or calculated risks being punished. I think the developers did a great job!

The best move I've seen is a single turn alliance steal going from 1 to 5 influence using Power Play, a faction bumb intrigue and the Bribary intrigue (2 solari for a bump of choice).

Despite this, the AI opponents sometimes also make some irrational moves that make me chuckle. The worst move that I've seen was 3 rounds in the making and inspired me to make this post:

It is round 7 and a double VP from the conflict is on the line. Baron Vladimir Harkonnen has been going to rally troops (4 Solari -> 4 troops) for the past two rounds and now has 9 troops in his garrison. In turn 1 he decides that is not enough and goes to rally troops once more, but only collecting 3 more troops since he is now maxed out on those. With 12 troops in garrison, I reckon he must have the rapid deployment intrigue, which let's a player deploy all troops. But no! Turn 2 the Baron spends 6 valuable spice to go to Heighliner, recruiting no troops because he has none left. I'm thinking he will at least able to deploy up to 7 troops, getting him in contention for first place in the conflict, right? I was wrong once more! Baron decides second or third in conflict is fine: he only deploys 3 troops.. xD

The AI loves excessively using Combat Intrigue cards when they will have no mathematical advantage or when it won't change their position. I sent the feedback to Dire Wolf already.

Seeing AI go to Heighliners and deploy only 1 troop is always a disappointing surprise.
