Need Rise of Ix added asap

The base game is pretty good, but I feel like in general the currencies aren't all that balanced and become kinda useless later in the game. Once you get your high council and extra agent, solari becomes pretty booty. There are times when even spice becomes not all that useful because highliner is expensive, and only one person per round can use bene gesserit space. RoI just adds a bunch more functionality to spice and solari, and also adds more ways to trash cards to thin your deck.

After playing Rise of Ix exclusively since it came out, going back to the base game really makes you realize all of the flaws.

No. The expansions are 100% going to come out at some point. Better to wait since the price for the base game will go down by then and you won't end up paying extra for an incomplete experience.

I agree, Rise of Ix would've been the fastest way to put this software on the map. However, the Base Game in this format has been helpful in getting me refreshed on the original cards. When you play with all the expansions, you really don't get this kind of intensity in learning the base game cards so thoroughly. It's also quick, like lightning, to play a game. No need to flip Hagal cards in TTS all by yourself.

IX adds some cool things true enough but it's also makes the game way more RNG heavy than the base game. To the point it becomes kind of a problem for me.

So, yeah, it will be cool to play with the expansion sometimes but for being honest for most of my games i'm still going to go for the original experience.

I consider Rise of Ix to be a necessary patch update to the original game. Am also waiting for that to release before purchasing.

AFter EA most likely coz it will be paid dlc if u compare it to their root digital.

I hope to have a complete extension as soon as possible. I am currently very frustrated with offline battles with players and have hardly won. I need a version with a bot to improve my skills

Needs both, Rise of Ix and Immortality. Those with the base game is way better than what Dune: Imperium Uprising has to offer.
