Device info: MacBook Pro - Chip M3 Pro (MacOS 14.5 (23F79))

I can play the game on my windows desktop but not the macbook, not sure why?

If you have artillery and reveal bene gesserit sister and select the swords option, I would expect artillery to kick in and give you the bonus. I did not. (There's also a tech card that is supposed to let you trash a card if you have 6 or more prestige and I've never figured out how to get that to work. Doesn't seem to flag or offer a trash. But maybe I'm missing something.) Fun update. Thanks.

Disposal Facility tech is not letting me trash during reveal. Expecting this could be due to my leader being Archduke Ecaz who has a similar trashing effect that might somehow conflict.

Having the same problem. When I'm in my reveal turn, I see zero option anywhere to trash a card, either in the Reveal box, or the Tech Tiles menu.

Encountered what i think is a bug, if you have purchased the artillery technology, which gives +1 swords for each card that gives +swords during the reveal, and you reveal a Bene Gesserit sister and then choose swords, you dont get the +1 sword from artillery.

Tech: Holtzmann Generator does not provide a begin of round effect (i think it should be a solari, not 100% sure though)

I think it works correctly. Troops deployed do not count towards this. It is really only extra swords from cards gained in that combat.

I understand how it should work. I had conflicts where I had 10 added swords and opponents had 4 and I only got 5 points. I also had 13 added swords and opponents had 5 - and I got 0 points.
I absolutely doesn't work.

I'm quoting Jacobator from February because Fencing still seems to have issues right now in Season 8, Game 7, where the Fencing rules read as follows:
+1 for each sword you had in the Conflict where you had the most swords (units add to Combat strength but are not swords).

It seems that winning the conflict isn't a stated as a necessary condition... so you could lose the conflict and still gain points with Worm Riders giving you more swords overall, for example. Is this accurate?

But other issues I've experienced is with swords from Intrigue cards not counting as expected. And other times where I've won, had the most additional swords (not counting deployed troops) and came away with no Fencing points.

Just got off the phone with my friend "ibuylow" who didn't know I was writing this... as he was calling me to talk about this very thing. Any clarifications would be great.

Quick follow up to the "Fencing" modifier being legit broken. Playing my 3rd match with now on iPad, not finished yet, but here's the breakdown so far:
Turn #1 - I had 2 Troops, 1 Dagger, 5 Points total. Memnon had 2 Troops, 2 Daggers, 6 Points total. Not the most non-troop swords... and I earned 1 Fencing point.
Turn #4 - I had 1 Troop, 1 Dagger, 1 Worm Rider (for 6), for 9 Points total. Won the battle, most non-troop swords, but only got 6 Fencing points (1 short than expected.)
Turn #7 just now - the worst yet - I had 3 Troops, 1 Sardaukar (2), 1 Worm Rider (6). Paul had 2 troops, Memnon had 4. I should've come away with 8 Fencing points, right? Nope.
I earned 1. One. Now sitting at 8 total Fencing points when it should be 15. That sucks.

Let me know if I can send a game log via iOS on iPad. Or if you can award me the earned fencing points so I can place higher in the rankings. :-)

Hello there,
I just solo played with AI. I had the ''ARTILLERY'' tech tile and revealed ''BENE GESSERIT SISTER'' (two options, 2 or +2 combat) but only gained +2 combat. Shouldn't be +3?

You are misunderstanding how Fencing works. (And to be fair, this confusion seems to come up every season! The explanation could be clearer!)

You do not accumulate your Fencing score over multiple conflicts. Your Fencing score is the largest number of swords you add in any one single conflict. Whether or not you win the conflict, or how many swords the opponents add in that conflict, does not matter.

So in your case:
- After round 1 it is correct that you have 1 Fencing point.
- In round 4 you added 7 swords to the conflict. This is more than the 1 you added in any previous round so now counts as your Fencing score. At this point you should have a Fencing score of 7. (You say 6 - this would be incorrect, although maybe what you meant was that your Fencing score had only increased by 6, i.e. from 1 to 7? Which would tie in with what you say for round 7.)
- In round 7, you added 8 swords. This is more than any previous conflict, so this now counts as your Fencing score, i.e. it should now be 8. Which it is.

So all working as expected, as far as I can see?

Last season I managed to score 24 Fencing points in a round 10 conflict. Worm Riders (for 4), Sardaukar Infantry, Stilgar revealed. Plus 3 intrigue cards for another 15 swords. This is how you do it - my plan came together perfectl!y!

Sadly, I lost the game on spice tie-break and as a result didn't manage to beat my previous high score for that skirmish.

bug report:
deployed bounty hunter on the double agent challenge, received card from another player. clicked undo as realised i'd deployed in error, game locked. just said "use ability" at top of screen but i couldn't progress the turn, or undo any further back.

anyone else experience the game ending at 11 vp in epic mode? I'm fairly certain there was still conflict cards remaining, but can't verify because there isn't a log/history of games played (this would be an excellent feature to add to the game moving forward btw, I would love to be able to view replays of games and see what happened)
