Lavenza fight is not about brute strenght but it's about technical situation and for 3rd phase you need land a crit hit on her or she will insta kill you lol
and for reminder Never waste your turn for showtime or all out attacks it's not worth it, better use it for baton pass to maximized ur attack.
I can't agree with this person more. I'll stress that the Lavenza fight is tricky in that it's pretty much the only fight where using showtime is a great way to die. That, and it's not a slug fest like fighting the Reaper, but a technical dance of a fight that also requires good knowledge of game mechanics.
fighting Margareth in P4G way more easier than Lavenza i think since you don't need specific strategy as long you can survive and keep ur party healed and buffed all the time
Honestly, the best boss fight in the entire game. An actual test of everything you've learned up to that point.
The real bs is in the third phase where the fight is completely depended on luck. But once you're past the third phase, it's all about memorizing her attack patterns. Keep debilitate on lavenza whenever possible, use your ofuda items keep yourself buffed up or better yet have use thermopylae with attis.
@OP
For phase 2, try using Rage instead of Sleep. It has the benefit of lasting more than 1 attack and lowering the def of the boss. Downside is that you have to use Psy to trigger technical but Haru and MC should have decent Psy dmg.
For phase 3, I like using Sumire with Brave Step just before triggering said phase, and use a Crit build on MC. I used Satanael with One Shot Kill, Apt Pupil and Trigger Happy for a decently high crit rate.
It isn't too bad. I spent about an afternoon trying to figure out her pattern without resorting to a guide. Compared to Persona 3's secret boss, this one is easier.
