Persona 5 Royal

Persona 5 Royal

Statistiche:
Lavenza is literally impossible
Even with all 99 personas...it's stupidly hard on hard.

I don't have Tech ranks maxed with teammates and now I'm paying the price...I'm just few days left to beat her and won't have time to max Tech...

The problem is that I got her to phase 2, she must have ailments to score tech damage, my main attacker Joker always goes first and use sleep, then my team is not good enough dps to down her. Her attacks are tough also. It's about time for me to give up just like Dr Maruki says "It's time to give up your dream and move on":steamfacepalm:

good move on for the next playtrough and don't forget to maxed out tech attack rank perk by playing billiard + reading book about technical shoot :Furrowed:
Lavenza fight is not about brute strenght but it's about technical situation and for 3rd phase you need land a crit hit on her or she will insta kill you lol
and for reminder Never waste your turn for showtime or all out attacks it's not worth it, better use it for baton pass to maximized ur attack.

The velvet room attendant fights are typically very particular fights; "figure out this specific strategy or lose" type fights, which I think suck, but its extreme optional late game, so leaving it alone and moving on is perfectly fine.

I can't agree with this person more. I'll stress that the Lavenza fight is tricky in that it's pretty much the only fight where using showtime is a great way to die. That, and it's not a slug fest like fighting the Reaper, but a technical dance of a fight that also requires good knowledge of game mechanics.

fighting Margareth in P4G way more easier than Lavenza i think since you don't need specific strategy as long you can survive and keep ur party healed and buffed all the time :strangely:

Having lvl 99 Personas won't matter if your own level is too low for this fight. As a refresher, Lavenza's level is 99 and she has 20 000 HP. Which also means you have to deal 5k damage every phase. So, ideally you and all your teammates should be maxed out and have their third tier skills unlocked by the time you fight her.

Honestly, the best boss fight in the entire game. An actual test of everything you've learned up to that point.
i am not in the day able to fight lavenza, but i have prepared tech rank 4, baton pass maxed, raoul with ailments that i think i will need them, i even keep revolution just in case in one of persona if i needed, hassou with undying fury maxed stats, still progress my 3rd tier party member persona but i will absolutely get all 3rd tier party member persona, also learning how critical hit work in P5R, i have a persona that specifically made to do critical hit, equip best armor and other equipment, getting all catch my eye skill that available thru jazz jin club, also will do maxed stats with my spefically made for doing magical attack with pagan allure along with magic ability if needed, prepare first i will fight her later.
The second phase is not about dealing damage, it's about getting a technical on every turn. As long as you deal a technical attack every turn, she won't instant kill your entire team. Just use a rage vial with a godly magatama and don't go for an all out attack, just keep hammer her while she is down. You should still be able to deal big damage even without the technical damage boost.

The real bs is in the third phase where the fight is completely depended on luck. But once you're past the third phase, it's all about memorizing her attack patterns. Keep debilitate on lavenza whenever possible, use your ofuda items keep yourself buffed up or better yet have use thermopylae with attis.

All Persona games from 3 onward have this kind of fight. It's optional so don't freak out. Unfortunately these fights require you to cheese to win.
Amidst all those Okumura threads, I was wondering when will this boss come up.

@OP

For phase 2, try using Rage instead of Sleep. It has the benefit of lasting more than 1 attack and lowering the def of the boss. Downside is that you have to use Psy to trigger technical but Haru and MC should have decent Psy dmg.

For phase 3, I like using Sumire with Brave Step just before triggering said phase, and use a Crit build on MC. I used Satanael with One Shot Kill, Apt Pupil and Trigger Happy for a decently high crit rate.

It isn't too bad. I spent about an afternoon trying to figure out her pattern without resorting to a guide. Compared to Persona 3's secret boss, this one is easier.

For phase 3, Lavenza cheats and casts physical wall, MC downshot doens't work, she also resist to magic dmg. All the guides i read that never mentioned she uses physical wall for phase 3, pretty much blocks one shot kill, sword dance.

There are skills and items to negate enemy's Tetrakarn. Worst case scenario, tank the wall through a normal melee attack and have someone else do the critical hit.
