3rd semester is pretty bad
"We need to prepare for 30 days before sending the calling card", really? All of my stats, levels, personas, confidants (the interesting ones anyway), baton passes, technicals are maxed out, I have millions of money, nothing to buy, nothing to do or improve, cleared Mementos and collected all stamps, read all the books, everything is DONE.

It's already such a long game and they artificially postpone it by these "fart around and do jack all" periods when there's NOTHING left to do. Just send the calling card, kill the boss and roll credits, geez luiz. Don't add extra 3 months to your game if you don't have content to justify it, I think I would've enjoyed the original game more. :steamsalty:

Nah there's plenty of stuff to do. Do the thieves den achieves. Do fishing. Can do batting cages. Jazz on sundays for new skills. Spending extra time past 10 with some confidants gets you room decos depending on where you go, etc. It only adds a month or a bit more of actionable days anyway. If you don't care anymore just pick the simplest option to pass time until you get to the dungeon progression days.

So you don't like "I Believe" or "Throw Away Your Mask"?

Are those the opening/main menu replacements? If yes, then yeah, I don't like them that much, the originals were WAY better. There's a mod to put those back, along with the original subway main menu (also better), but I don't spend enough time on the main menu to really care to use it.

"I Believe" replaces "Life Will Change" in Maruki's Palace.

"Throw Away Your Mask" is Maruki's boss theme.

Fails to realize that you can SKIP the 3rd semester. If you don't wanna do the Royal content, just don't max Maruki. I see this all too often.

Even if you max him, you can still accept Sae's offer to turn yourself in and skip it like that (I think? Haven't tried it, but I heard that this was possible).

We'll have to disagree on the better music part.

So you haave 999 hp and SP, have beaten Jose, the twins, and Lavenza, AND have every party members stats completely maxed, with perfect movesets, along with a set of maxed stat Persona's with perfect abilities and movesets?

I've seen your profile, it seems you're a completionist, did it occur to you that maybe because you do this all the time that your focused playstyle means you finish content in a way that the average gamer doesn't?

I don't care about achievments personally and once I've beaten the story of the game and done whatever extras I want, I shelve the game and don't play it again for years sometimes.

I can't see how many hours you've played but I've got 200 and I haven't maxed my SP or HP, I still need to fuse better traits on my persona's remax their stats and I haven't started using the jazz club to raise party members stats to max yet at all.

If you did all that in 200 hours or less then you probably followed a guide, and if you follow a guide it's kind of on you when you finish everything quickly.

Did you get all the available achievements up until that point?

But they didn't remove the music from the original though?

I don't know, you have several days with the day time used to get third tier personas for each party member, when you're done, just visit gym/temple.

On nights, just visit the jazz club for some extra stats, and arms master and magic master on Sundays.

Or, try not playing with a guide, I played without one, and wasted many days in sub-optimal options (hanging out, and non-rank-up events), I had only 4 free days after maxing out all confidants, not the entire month.

I mean, by his own admission he hasn't even finished all the confidants so you are doing better than him, and as you say there is always the gym and such that you can do if there is nothing else.

"I have nothing to do for a month. No, the things I literally told you I still have to do don't count, and neither does all the new things I can do. I also won't use any of the repeatable services to get stronger with my extra time, or even just skip all the time by sleeping either. Game sucks."

Yay, finally beat the game, took 187 hours total, got all the Steam achievements (I think you get pretty much all of these by default). No, I didn't have 999 hp because there is no incentive to do so, I steamrolled the last boss like a hot mofo and working out at the gym 50 times is not exactly what I would consider "content" in a video game, I mostly just hang out with the less interesting confidants towards the end.

Don't know if I found any optional bosses other than the Reaper (which was insanely hard and took a handful of tries to take down). I think I broke the flow of the game by completing all the palaces within 1-2 days, so naturally I had spent way more time outside the dungeons than what the developers had intended, that's probably why the game felt so empty towards the end, I think the social stats were maxed out around the halfway point of the game (even though everything is already MAX the game loves to pop up the social stats screen every time you get points to show that you've improved literally NOTHING, good design).

In any case, good game, definitely better than P4. Might check P3 in the near future when I'm in the mood for "fart around and do jack all" kind of games. Futaba best girl, make like a tree.

-Doesn't have all confidants maxed
-Claims there's nothing else to do and the developers intended you to have even less time
huh?
