Video games are meant to be fun. If it ceases to be an enjoyable experience, move on to other things or jump back to it later.
- February 13th and 14th.
- March 14th
- March 19th
March 20th is when the ending takes place.
I can't see why they couldn't just wrap things up after the casino palace. It was an excellent place to finish. There was no need for boss fights for shido, akechi or maruki. Ruined the ending for me.
Better luck next time
Second, all of those boss fights make perfect sense:
- Shido is the reason why Joker got a criminal record to begin with AND he was trying to take control of Japan through the use of the Metaverse.
- Akechi is an accomplice, who also tried to set up the group and attempted to kill Joker.
There's absolutely no way the game should've ended before dealing with them. You're just burned out, simple as that.
or since u mention casino should end this game, u can ignore maruki confidant completely and get original p5 ending by ditch him to make this game shorter to end
Thankfully the filler arc is basically as long as any other single arc in the game + a new mementos segment.
Casino is a bad place to stop though. I don't understand why you think the best place to stop is just before the main antagonists of the plot are revealed and a lot of the mystery that the game was building up is finally being addressed.
Wrap up the main plot and deal with the main antagonists of a JRPG just through narration? I'm glad you aren't designing JRPGs
Dragging the game unnecessarily and finishing it really fast anti-climatically are both bad options.
The types of stories that go from. "This is the present and now let me tell you how we got to this point" type of stories never end almost immediately after "now we are back to present" for a good reason. Because that is really unsatisfying for the viewer.
