yusuke's card duplication lack of information
when i talk to him to duplicate a card the game lets me choose between 4 categories of card types.
attack, magic, support and passives i believe.

the problem i have is when i actually have to choose which card to copy.
i have no idea what each skill does because i dont know the names of the attacks or get any explanation of what they do...only the names are displayed...
as far as i have seen, when you duplicate cards, there is no way to toggle tooltips on like when you fuse persona's.

am i missing something or am i forced to alt+tab out of the game just to google every single skill name?
(doesnt help that the names are kinda wierd in this game)

sukukaja?
mabufu?
mabufula???
masukukaja??????
mabufudyne??????????

see what im getting at?
is there no way to toggle some kind of tooltip in the card duplication window that explains what exactly those skills do? (this is my first persona game so i have a hard time knowing what skill does what)

The only way to do that would be to use the Expanded Descriptions[gamebanana.com] mod, which makes the descriptions less vague and also adds said descriptions to Skill Cards as well, so you don't have to manually check in-game or on outside resources every time.

That is a classic JRPG move, even final fantasy does it. The good thing is, when you learn the names they usually carry over between games.
I remember I had that issue too when I played Persona 4 Golden.

It does take a while to learn, and if u can't be bothered, use the mod that Bibi suggested, it will make it a lot easier for you.

I do think the final fantasy names a slightly easier than the persona ones.

Like for FF, fire skills are called, Fire, Fira, Firaga
Where in Persona its, Agi, Agilao, Agidyne

I do think the stat buffs in persona is the hardest ones to remember.

Tarukaja = ATK
Rakukaja = DEF
Sukukaja = AGI

If they have "Ma" in front that means its an AOE buff, so like. Matarukaja, Marakukaja, Masukukaja.

And if they end in "Unda" that means its a debuff.

Tarunda = ATK down
Rakunda = DEF down
Sukunda = AGI down

And finally if they start in "Ma" and end in "Unda" then its an AOE Debuff. Matarunda, Marakunda, Masukunda.

It is kinda ass to remember, and I still mess it up every now and then :P

i always follow this link https://aqiu384.github.io/megaten-fusion-tool/p5r/skillshttps://aqiu384.github.io/megaten-fusion-tool/p5r/skills

hopefully i have memorized things since p4g and anyway i ended up duplicate passive skill mostly repel ones, because i can simply using gallows to transfer skills between my persona, yusuke is just bonus, most importantly duplicate skill cards that u get from negotiation.

Bufu - > Ice
Agi -> Fire
Zio -> Lightning
Garu -> Wind

Add Ma in front for AoE, add La at the end for mid tier spells, add Dyne at the end for the third tier spells.

Then you have special skills which will take longer.

What you really need to worry about duplicating is...

Spell Master -50% SP cost for spells
Arms master -50% HP costs for skills
Victory Cry - Restore HP and SP to full after battle
Concentrate - Doubles next magic attack
Charge - Doubles next Physical attack.

Then you'll want to obtain and duplicate elemental repel or drain cards. These are easier names like Drain Bless.

The names of the skills have carried over across the franchise so you only need to learn them once.
