i had no problems with any of the palaces themselves, but okumura's boss fight made me want to claw my eyeballs out

Bank, the most confusion palace ever. Ship was easy and it looks like cute when PT become rattle. Spaceship robo army battle was only about SP management, if i don't put spell master on joker's persona, i will run out SP much faster than i imagine. The most fun palace i think pyramid, because that's where "strengthen persona" opened, i need it so badly to transfer skills w/o re-fusion my current persona including grinding persona stats.

I actually kind of liked the rat thing, I was going through the palace thinking of all the stuff in the way as barriers against a potential betrayal by Akechi, rats included... though Akechi just waltzing in deep within the palace kind of goes against that.

For most annoying palace though... well my least favorite would probably be Kaneshiro, I don't really recall anything that particularly stood out to me for that one, as opposed to the others, but that is mostly least interesting, not most annoying. I would say Okumura, mostly for the boss (I was able to get it second try, but not fond of it).

Oh no. Puzzles. Whatever will we do.
No teleportation mazes so far, which feels like a first for Atlus RPGs for me (even if it isn't).

Okumura palace. Didn't really like the design and the music. Kaneshiro is kinda annoying since I have to open and close journal for the puzzle but the design and music is amazing so it avoids being the worst.

Shido's one. It's too long in my opinion

I'm not in Shidos palace yet. I didn't like the casino and the bank. The bank had stupid puzzles and the casino had a confusing layout.

Oh my sweet summer child. Come back to us when you made it through Shido.

None. All Palaces are interesting in their own way.
Okumuras, the stand out intermediate level for me, Love Haru but the story elements introduced during this palace are weak too. It started with a weak link - the team blindly targeted Okumura not knowing what criminal aspect they're dealing with (My Joker and Yusuke were the only upholders of truth in my playthrough, big clutch points to Yusuke after he voiced his concern in the story) and it resolved a also weak thread - Morgana's departure from the team - seen by lots in the community as the weirdest story turn in all of P5. People's reaction to the end of said palace, which in ours case, is the hard as hell boss fight in the Royal version of the game, which a reminder, it really was changed into so only because of the underwhelming version that was offered in P5 original. So it's really not hard to vote on this palace for me seeing that it's both versions of the palace that received rather community reactions, and they were both poor.

Qliphoth World/Mementos and Shido palace. They drags on for no reason, but have one of the best boss battles. Okumura palace would be fine if not for terrible boss

Okumura boss fight - the only story boss that made me lower the difficulty. Not exavtly tough, but that mechanic is both annoying and hard to break through.

Shido's rat maze was annoying the first time around, but in my defence by the time I got there it was stupid o'clock and I wasn't really in the best mindset for it. I came back to it the next day and it was fine.

Okumura can be a chore due to the combination of the airlock sequence and the boss battle demands, but I think Royal made the airlocks more manageable, and there are ways to make the boss more do-able.

Third semester palace only because of the color bridge puzzle.

I spent like an hour figuring out the puzzle just to get a crappy accessory.
