How's the PC release so far?
I've been waiting for this for years on pc. Was thinking about playing it on switch via capture card but well... so many games to play. Is this version worth it in its current state? Anything weird (besides Denuvo atm -- understandable why peeps complain).Might be better to wait a bit longer.

Although I may want to beat smtv first before going deep into P5.:VBCOOL::spyro::B1:

Better wait a bit longer. To me, the experience has been horrendous. I got a black screen and can't get to pass it. Tried to fix touching some files but Denuvo detected it and now I get a message that I have to wait 24 hrs and retry.

how did you fix it if you are black screened? not being sarcastic but curious

If you never played P5 its worth every $. As for performance its flawless, no problem what so ever. Running all max setting plus Res scale to 200%

The performance is hit and miss. People with both stronger and weaker rigs than mine run the game great. My 980ti is capped out at 15fps in the main menu and 35fps in game.

There's some performance problems for some people.

I would wait a while, this games performance is hit and miss. Some say its butter smooth, others say its a trash port. I, myself, have horrible fps issues in heavily populated areas, but decent performance in battle/dungeons.

I've played it both on PC and Deck without issues at 60fps+. The user score would be significantly lower if the performance issues were widespread. Buy it and refund if it runs poorly for you.

RE8 Village had a terrible performance problem at release that affected everyone. Yet the game was overwhelmingly positive.

I have no clue what that problem was. Apparently it wasn't "bad enough" for me to even notice.

Performancewise it runs perfectly for me, only noticable issue is that Anti Aliasing is only applied sometimes, at least that's what it looks like.

You can just buy the game and if you're getting performance issues refund it, the parts where people report having severe framerate issues come up within the first 30 minutes.

Performance is mostly perfect for me, 120fps almost all the time - 1080p max graphic, rtx3050. No problems with the app so far (20hours in).

Perfect. Flawless.
I've been playing on Steam Deck. Haven't tried on my desktop yet.
Max settings. It will run at 60fps, but I locked it to 40, and as a result I get almost 5 hours of battery life.

It's the same with this release. Minority is experiencing issues. I'm playing on game pass pc which has two different DRM's running in the background. Have yet to experience bugs or fps drops below 100. All issues seem to stem from steam only.

No problems here except for the price. Full price for a 6 year old game is a bit iffy.

One thing I've noticed that kinda bothers me...NPC loading in later, this is very noticable in cutscenes, for example when you first enter the faculty office and meet Kawakami and for the first few seconds of the scene it's just her in the room and suddenly a whole bunch of other students and teachers pop in around her.

Now this is not a PC port specific issue, it's normal, it was exactly like that on PS4 but it's just...you know, you'd think they could've improved this with the PC version.
