RE8 Village had a terrible performance problem at release that affected everyone. Yet the game was overwhelmingly positive.
You can just buy the game and if you're getting performance issues refund it, the parts where people report having severe framerate issues come up within the first 30 minutes.
I've been playing on Steam Deck. Haven't tried on my desktop yet.
Max settings. It will run at 60fps, but I locked it to 40, and as a result I get almost 5 hours of battery life.
It's the same with this release. Minority is experiencing issues. I'm playing on game pass pc which has two different DRM's running in the background. Have yet to experience bugs or fps drops below 100. All issues seem to stem from steam only.
Now this is not a PC port specific issue, it's normal, it was exactly like that on PS4 but it's just...you know, you'd think they could've improved this with the PC version.
