I guess no Vampire Collection for the 30th Anniversary

With the announcement of The Marvel vs Capcom Fighting Collection this year, I think we lost the chance of having any kind of Darkstalkers collection for it's 30th anniversary.

I was hoping to get the Vampire: Darkstalkers Collection, originally released only for PS2 and only in Japan.
Translated and with online play (Rollback netcode of course). This would be the definitive Darkstalkers Collection, but this was another missed opportunity.

I think even Capcom forgot 2024 is Darkstalkers 30th Anniversary.

I think that the Darkstalkers resurrection its even better, it has everything and rollback, but it was released only for ps3/x360

Darkstalkers Resurrection is just roms of the arcades. Not too different from the current Collection.

The Vampire Collection is like Hyper Street Fighter II: The Anniversary Edition, but even better.

You can mix all games, all the backgrounds, all the music, and all the characters. No more split roster between versions. Also the gameplay mechanics can be mixed.
And we even get a "new" character, Dee.

This is the collection we need for Steam. Just translate it and add Rollback Netcode. Hell, add easy inputs to bring more people in.

Yes, I know Dreamcast Vampire Chronicle is there, but that's not Vampire Collection.

And I'm looking for an official release that new people can support. I got my PS2 copy decades ago.

Resurrection also had an EXTREMELY well-made training and tutorial option and limited cosmetic options for your cab(some of which I think were dlc).

On a very minor note it also had little side blurbs about the lore.
though it lacked the first game or the VH2 or VS2. Not the the latter are a bit loss.

Nobody hates Darkstalkers more than Capcom. At this point it's bordering on fetishistic the way they ignore this franchise outside of occasionally selling Morrigan merchandise.

I mean, they keep shoving product placement and cross-promotional stuff from their previous games all over Street Fighter 6, but Darkstalkers? Not even during Halloween. Oh, they'll have a month where their Battle Pass is entirely devoted to freaking Saturday Night Slam Masters, but Darkstalkers? Now even a whiff of it anywhere to be seen.
