Only get a black screen on launch

It was working fine, but now it just launches to a silent black screen. When I restarted my PC, it worked once, but then it stopped working again.

I've tried:
- Restarting my PC
- Restarting Steam
- Verifying the game files
- Compatibility modes
- Launching as administrator
- Reinstalling
- Adding it to my Nvidia control panel and ensuring it's on global settings

Any suggestions? Thanks!

UPDATE: So the problem hasn't been solved, but for some reasons it'll work precisely *once* after restarting my PC, but then refuse to launch if I try to launch it again without restarting.

Did your DirectX files get updated recently?
Also; some Steam Games can give problems if you go days without restating your PC.

I literally had to wait 5mins for the game to launch after the black screen. Not sure what to say other than terrible programming...
