While I used 1 Keyboard and 1 Gamepad Controller connected (mine is a PS5 DualSense) they both can only be assigned to be as P1. But when I connected 1 Keyboard and 2 Controllers (mine are 2 PS5 DualSense Controllers) the Game(s) treated P1 with the Keyboard and Gamepad 1 and P2 was able to use the 2nd controller and only if you'll use it in that way you'll be able play locally as P1 using a Keyboard and P2 using the Gamepad. I hope it helped you!
Or else he can use virtual joysticks and keyboards with the appropriate utility
Thanks so much! Unfortunately, I only have the one controller, but I'll look into a virtual one as the other commenter mentioned.
any recommendations?
