Seeing as the listed install size is 25GB, I'd say it's either short relative to other RPGs, assets are heavily reused, or the story takes place in only a few locations.

I'll do a play through 3 or 4x to get the full experience of anything I might have missed. I'm taking Friday off of work so three days and back to work Monday. Damn I can't do that I'll have to wait until the 8th.

I know I will be waiting a few days after the games release to learn this and decide from there. if the game s relatively short, no sale. I am sure the game would be good regardless, short games are just not my thing.

Same here, i hate short rpgs, you barely dip your toes in and it is already over.

Quality always trumps size and graphical fidelity (I ama a 4090FE+Ryzen 7800X3D+64 Gigs of DDR5 6000 CL38+WD SN850X 2 Tb nvme) player.

I love bleeding edge graphics, but Planescape Torment 1997, and the OG Mass Effect..... The 1st few LGS Thief games are still top 10 all time same with System Shock 1 + 2, OG releases, NO mods, to name just a few are still in my top ten all time. This game looks great. Is it cutting edge ? Hell no,but its a looker none the less.

I am far more concerned about DEI/ESG being inserted into the writing, by Sweet Baby Inc,and other less known groups, I am now FINDING and helping to bring to light. I choose to not financially support 3rd and 4th Wave Feminist ideologies and or Intersectional Politics from the REAL WORLD, into a product that is supposed to be ESCAPIST ENTERTAINMENT. I want to be taken AWAY from the pure insanity of our current world, to a place like Morrowind 2003, or System Shock 1, no one on a soapbox yelling at me, telling me I am trash because of my Skin Color, or political stance on a issue, etc. We all use entertainment to ESCAPE the endless LIES of the Politicians aka banker puppets and tv/idiot box,etc

I need both quality and length, like BG3 for example.
If the game is amazing but only few hours long it will leave me wanting more which i will not be able to get since it is already over, which in turn will make me anxious and annoyed.
Why would i do that to myself? I would much rather skip short game no matter how good quality it is.

You will be waiting a long time for something compared to BG3; also, people have beat BG3 from minutes to a few hours to thousands of hours without beating it [many of my friends]
