Whenever I tab out to use chrome, it makes the game minimise, how am I supposed to play when it does that? there's no windowed mode?

Will there be any local offline mulitplayer option for this game? I played the demo now and it didn't seem to be made to work offline, especially after I looked into the gamefiles. One thing that made Awkward so fun to play was that it was playable offline and anywhere you wanted with anyone that was with you. Do we lose that option with the sequel?...
