Softlock?

I looted every room in a Dungeon map, but there's no boss key, so i can't proceed. Am i softlocked?

Fortunately, this issue appears to be quite rare (only one other reported instance) but given the severity, I'm actively investigating it to determine the repro steps. Should know more in the next couple days, and I'll provide you an update within the week.

Ok, it seems that this issue is caused by Offline Mode, i also can't choose any character other than Druid, because once i start a run, whole game restarts and my character becomes a Druid. Softlock is also triggered by that, i guess,

Update: There does indeed appear to be a correlation between offline mode and missing boss keys. I examined two other bugs this morning where missing boss key was reported, and in both cases, a different bug (related to the offline mode) was generated just before the treasure is populated in the world generation. I've also noticed this issue can also prevent the population of soul gems and small keys as well.

The offline mode bug itself is proving difficult to repro, as it seems to require a specific timing where it attempts to connect to a service while the player is attempting to do something (ex: start new adventure), but I think I'm getting close to a solve on this one.

Hmm, that's interesting. This happens only when you start in offline mode? Any chance you could share a screenshot of this (also report in-game). I want to make sure this is related and not a different issue.

Ok, I was able to reproduce exactly what you were describing. When I started in offline mode, it booted into the adventure with a full team (whichever group I had selected in battle mode) and faced off against an orc chieftain and 2 goblins. Since the Druid is the default battle team, that would explain why you always ended up with Druid. Additionally, the boss key and other important treasures failed to spawn.

When this happened, did you also start with the Bear and Rogue?

Update: Thanks to your help, Goo, I've got a fix prepared for this and your other bug with the constant prompts appearing when playing in offline mode. I want to do a bit more testing to make sure my solution doesn't cause any new bugs, and I expect I'll have a patch out for you tomorrow.
