Stanley's Package

I found the package, but I literally cannot pick it up. I've tried everything. Nothing happens when I get close to it or press any buttons. I play on Steamdeck but the controller is fully supported. This is driving me nuts.

Make sure there isn't a festival on your current day. Can you let me know what your quest description says? You have triggered the first Stanley cutscene, then found the package in the town? We will figure it out. If you want faster support, join discord and message me, David - Thank you

edit: I realized later, that it may not be common knowledge yet, but most if not all NPC quest triggers are suspended during festivals, their festival behaviors override. Your question involves two such triggers.

Stanley will approach you, and give you the quest to help him find the package. This won't trigger during any festival, so you have to trigger the cutscene to end that first, or wait until the next day. Once you have the quest active, then when you approach the package, it should trigger another cutscene where Stanley will give you the next step in the quest.
