This game has a lot of potential but is currently a tough play when using a controller. It might be way better with keyboard and mouse. It’s marked as steam deck verified but that wasn’t my experience.
Pros: pretty-art farm sim. I’ve sunk more hours than I care to admit into rune factory, dragon quest, stardew, etc. could be a fun addition to the genre if it makes it out of early access.
Cons:
Targeting and menus are really unpleasant when using a controller. You hope you’re clicking somewhere but it’s more like. 70/30 chance esp when farming.
People are right that it gives you too much at the start. Too many different items and immediate intro of too many people is hard to keep up with and manage inventory.
I heard they added fast travel, yay!

I will try this game again in a year as it has potential, but where it is right now is frustrating.

Very good game, its like a better version of Stardew Valley with more items, NPCs. I also like the more detailed farming system compared to similar games. The only issues I have run into seem to be from the game being in development.

Controls are terrible and the lag is so bad it's completely unplayable
