I saved all the hostages!

I was able to save all 5 hostages against 6 enemies in second encounter in studio. I think it`s the hardest part of the demo. I had to replay it mutliple times, but the XP boost (500XP) worth the try.

btw what is 'office hostages'? cuz in my case it says that i saved all studio hastages but not office one. office is first encounter? then there is always 3 hostages (1 injured), I always kill 3 scums before slowmotion run out, they do not have time even to aim any hostages in that encounter.

Yes. It is much easier than the second encounter in studio.

Hint - I tried to shoot (headshots only) as fast as I can all the badguys in the center, than on the left then on the right. Last one was the guy with metal mask, just bodyshot him several time with your Auto-9. After several attempts you can do it. And try to pause and load the autosave as soon as you realise that hostage is dead. Because after the cutscene, there will be a new autosave added.

Nice... nobody said being a robot cop man was going to be easy but it helps when you can shot people in the noggin real good.

Hi, how i know i saved hostages? Where is the info about it? I stuck on first mission trying to save the first hostage lady, i'm thinking i'll do it, but there's no info about it so maybe all the time she don't survive :')

There is no indicator for saved hostage, you will only get notice in the mission result screen in Metro West PD. So only way to get sure is to constantly check the hostage status during the breaking it, when you are in slow mo. Out of slow mo and there are still Torch-heads alive? Probably hostage is dead (she can disappear too because of glitch). So relaod from checkpoint.

i did that and had them either not detect, or actually get back up after blowing their head off... not joking. Its frustrating

Didn't know it was rocket science. I did with a controller no problem.

I spent an hour trying to do this with the stock pistol. Decided to try it with an AK and got it on the first try. Realizing my issue was the slow fire rate of the pistol I decided to have fun with and tried it one more time without any gun and what I found is everyone shoots at you until there are only two of the enemies left. So if you go in melee and set up your kills so you pick up the second to the last and throw him into the last man standing you can cheese it that way too.

So I think the moral here is that if you go into this trying to have fun rather than taking it too seriously you will actually have a superior experience.

I finally got it... and the whole "everyone aims at you until there are only two enemies"part is BS, cause they ALL start firing at the hostages a second or two after the breach slowdown ends. My issue was that my shots weren't registering. I even had a friend watch me on broadcast. At first he thought I was just missing, but eventually he saw what I meant. There seem to be certain animations that have I-Frames. I've also had more than one instance of a dude whose head i blew off resurrect intact... both in that sequence and in regular gameplay. The Dude's with the Armored masks are particularly bad about this... As I'll blow off the mask and head... walk past them... only to turn around to find them back on their feet, mask and all, after getting pelted from behind. I've also caught them getting back up... after blowing them to pieces with a canister.
