I would much rather have a new Predator game where you play as the predator and preparing your weapons, doing hunts, collecting trophies, prepare them for display, etc. There has still not been any fully immersive Predator game where you truly feel like you are the predator when you play. Closest was the AVP 2010 game, but that was pretty lacking considering it was pretty much 3 games crammed in into one.

And Predator Hunting Grounds was decent for a while, but also lacked in the details department, and became too repetitive too quick.

I thought about that and I would love that too. But making a predator game requires a lot of work: the jumping, stalking, imagine the level design needed for that, it would require something from Dishonored to be playable, with a lot of content in Verticality.

I recommended Judge Dredd because its much closer to the gameplay and destruction they have already available.

Also, if you really love AvP games, you should definitely check out Aliens vs Predator 2: it has an amazing story line and TONS of readables around the maps (except for when you play the Alien, where you have to stop and listen to NPCs talk in order to get more world info and immersion).

Its an older game that requires you to run it at 60 fps (config in drivers settings) otherwise it messes up the game's speed.

I highly recommend it if you're a fan. Hunting as the predator in it is very fun. Human has a great SP campaign that will make you feel very vulnerable and almost always tense.

its become "freeware" because its pretty old, but for me still the best AvP game ever:

I was born in the early 80's so I have played every AvP game there is. Even the Capcom arcade game (which is still awesome). And the Jaguar AvP game as well. I played AvP 1 and 2 when they were released on PC, and yeah, they are overall better games than AvP 2010, but AvP 2010 is still the best looking game when you play as the Pred. I surely wouldn't mind a new AvP game, but that game needs to be ambitiously done with a big budget. Same with a new Predator game. There has been enough mediocre Predator games already.
^ same. I did enjoy playing Terminator 2029 in '92 too. Playing them at an internet cafe with my lunch money LOL
Especially if they nail the ambiance, and let us explore that world a bit. Oh man. I would love a Dredd game from these devs.
AvP 2 was a blast. I remember playing mulit-player using nothing but the disk as a pred. Nothing but head shots going out and coming back, such an OP'd weapon, was sad to see it fall by the wayside. That game definitely deserves a remake in UE4/5

That, the Doom 64 Supershotgun, and the Halo CE pistol are my favorite in-game weapons of all time lol. Balance schmalance, I miss when fun (even if it was OP) was prioritized. One reason I like this game, honestly. It doesn't care anywhere near as much about balance as it does making you feel OP and like Robocop lol.

Do you remember if you played the double pistols in FEAR ? best shooting range ever.

Hard to remember now, but I remember feeling like F.E.A.R.'s weapons were super satisfying.
