When frame gen is on drivers show 165 FPS, but it looks like maybe 60.
100 FPS with frame gen off look much better than 165 frame gen on.
For me right now this is way worse than the DLSS-FSR3 mod.
7800XT on 24.2.1
I see now that for some reason enabling frame gen disables v-sync and makes it look choppy.
Nah I have everything unlimited. But now with frame gen I'm getting over 144 fps so that's pretty pointless, so might lock it out at 144 see if that makes any difference. I'm brand new to having a better monitor than 60 Hz, and with freesync, and a PC that can use it, so I'm not yet sure what are the best settings, but it looks great and super smooth as it is.
I'm not some seasoned twitch FPS pro gamer, so I might not be the best judge of smooth, to be honest - tiny micro-stutter, frame time issues, frame gen input lag, etc. I'm currently just blown away by seeing greater than 60 Hz, lol.
