Why is she black? Major Spoilers Major Spoilers.

So I finished the story and I am still playing it, lots of side content available.

In the story, you got left in New York by the Holland tunnel. Your mother is Tanta Cinta but she is white. She has the ability to open portals that lead to different realms. Well she went to New York and met the father of Frey. His name is Al.

In the last chapter or so you run through a bunch of flash backs that lead to Frey's birth and mother Cinta speaks about Frey's father as being a great hero. I thought I would finally meet the father but nope. Your father is a mystery. I am assuming he is black since Frey is black. Having a black father and white mother would make sense because Frey has lighter skin of a normal black person.

Now what bothers me about this is where is the father if he was from New York? He could have been there to take care of Frey. I mean if Cinta knew that she would succumb to the madness that would make her in a big dragon. She could have contacted Al (what an original name? Did he sell shoes and play highschool football) and given him the child for safekeeping.

What annoys me is there was lead up to finding out who the father is but it is quickly never discussed again.

I get the story is not the greatest but it still has some good themes around it. Maybe they will address who the father in the upcoming dlc?

Honestly I would love to see this happening but I don't think that will be the case, not in the first DLC at least it's already named "in tanta we trust". But it would be cool to have at some point to delve deeper in her roots in the normal world. Probably wont sit well with people who play for the open world part, but a small story only dls would be cool.

Well knowing that Frey is a Tanta herself. It might be possible to throw some closure on who her father was. I wasn't expecting a whole story around the father but at least acknowledge who he was was. Like maybe Al was a police man or firefighter. Anything really. Maybe a portrait of him somewhere or photograph.

What is if Reif is the Father? Because he is converted 20 years ago, the same age like Frey. Maybe it is a magic from one onf the tantas which converted him.

nope Cuff or like you said Reif is not the father but another major part of the game. I won't spoil more. And about Freys father as I understood Cinta had to leave New York in order to defend Athia without knowing she was pregnant. She went back and Frey was born in Athia. The father never knew that he has a child. So the father is still a mystery, but he is obviously black.

the story do confirm the father is black and from earth though so 99% he has not appeared in the game at all.

yeah as I have seen her Mother did mention his name was Al and she was in love with him. She had to leave him because a great danger happened in Athia and her people needed her. Freys mother used her power of world travel or better known Torana to send Frey to New York because of the danger she was facing during that time. I won't spoiler more.
