If you have upgraded it to lv 3 you cannot complete it so you have to downgrade the skill to complete the challenge. 😅
Then you can upgrade it back to lv 3.
Means you have to do 1500> damage within the timeframe
Ohhh that is dumb and annoying. lol Thanks.

Spell Challenge Grinding Locations:
1. This is a horde. You can easily complete most challenges here (Scatter Shot lv2, etc.), charge your surge and skills ASAP on the horde, etc.
2. This is a small group of enemies for actions like "ending battle" challenges. You can use the wolves at #3 but this spot is more consistent than wolves I found such as the Genesis surge challenges where it must be the final enemy in the battle. Run to #1 to charge surge ASAP and once full come back here.
3. Wolves are "weak to Frey's magic" and thus great for those type of challenges. You can simply save a couple of feet away and load your game to respawn them (same for horde and others). No need to fast travel like some online info misstates.
4. I used these for knock down challenge like the Primed mine challenge because they were tankier and my dmg was too high at that point. I could possibly have taken off gear to reduce dmg but wasn't really paying attention to it as I was watching a show. Might be worth considering this, esp if you do it before the other stat boosting challenges and stuff are done so you have low dmg, on #1 which could make it extremely easy.
The resting location I'm standing next to will let you update your challenges at the bookshelf inside and you can rest/craft if you actually need to though I found the life drain spin attack to fully heal me at #1 horde in a single cast reliably.

Both seem to be about equal though Junoon seems more prone to stutter and other technical issues on rare occasion (per my experience and some other poster's) so yours might be better for some people having performance related issues if they are far enough in to use it.
