Like what? The only games I know of with $1000 worth of DLC is flight sim games and those are niche.
There's a demo and refund option. No one's getting tricked. Save the hate campaigns for 'live services'.

So you admit that in general you like the game, but it is still flawed. Fortunately, you aren't affected by any performance issues.
Now consider the fact that the game is generally short and it came with a bloated price tag.
I wouldn't say that's hate. It's just ... mixed. Once it gets some patches and goes on sale it's probably worth another look for some.
