Hey everyone! We've just rolled out a hotfix addressing several visual and text-related issues. Here’s what’s been fixed:

• Fixed an issue where Jake’s head was getting cut off during close-ups.
  
• Adjusted the zoom-out behavior so that the text box now disappears after a few seconds.
  
• Smoothed out Jake’s fade-in transition to prevent sudden pop-ins.
  
• Removed the lingering background image behind Jake at the end of a scene.
  
• Corrected a Live2D rendering issue where a piece of Jake’s jacket was appearing on his face.
  
• Fixed inconsistencies with Nina’s jacket—he no longer reappears wearing it after taking it off.
  
• Adjusted character heights and scaling to ensure consistency.
  
• Fixed missing asset transitions so that backgrounds don’t overlap.

• Fixed inconsistencies in the script.
  
• Corrected incorrect text descriptions (e.g., Nina’s eyes are now properly referenced as green).
  
• Updated the library scene introduction—Jake no longer sees Nina under a tree.
  
• Fixed a dialogue inconsistency where Moretto is mentioned looking at Jake despite disappearing.
  
• Resolved an issue where Moretto would unintentionally reappear in the background after vanishing.
  
• Adjusted the English text printer, fixing formatting issues.

• Locked choice options to prevent rollback after making a decision.
  
• Added missing assets for the gun, powder case, and ring.
  
• Updated Lucy’s visual change during her singing scene.
  
• Implemented camera adjustments in the park scene.

Since the beginning of this journey, we've always aimed to convey the essence of our story in the best possible way. Thanks to our participation in Tech Camp, we had the opportunity to receive valuable feedback from industry experts. One of the most important pieces of advice was to rebrand, as the previous title didn’t clearly reflect the core of the game.

The new name, Poison Noir, perfectly encapsulates the essence of the story—desire, crime, mystery, and the passage of time. We want players to feel the dark and captivating atmosphere of our visual novel from the very first moment.

This change isn’t just aesthetic; it’s an evolution that will allow us to connect with you on a deeper level. You’ll be able to experience this new vision with the release of our demo for th Visual Novel Steam Fest.

IMPORTANT: You may encounter some bugs in the demo, as we're working on adding new character poses to enhance their expressiveness, along with new backgrounds and animations. However, throughout the Fest, we’ll be releasing updated and more polished versions.
