Quick update - thought it was the Scuf controller and it's not. For some reason the game thinks I have a PS5 controller AND an Xbox controller plugged in simultaneously. I've gone into Device Manager and fully disabled the Razer Keyboard as a 360 Controller, turned off both the Steam and EA overlays, fully removed all Xbox controller support from Steam, and the game CONTINUES to think I have both a PS5 and an Xbox controller plugged in at the same time and just freaks the controls out completely.
Windows sees the ONE controller plugged in under set up USB controllers and Device Manager. So not sure where the game is thinking its seeing an Xbox controller from. And all the PlayStation button icons are there, but the moment I press a button on the controller for a split second all the Xbox button icons show up and the controls go haywire.
Looking like this is going to be a refund. What a pain.
Last update I think - looks like disabling steam input fixed it. It's no longer flashing the Xbox controller icons when pressing any input on the PS5 controller. It should not be like this...
