Crash on Asus laptop with 2 graphics cards
My Asus F555U laptop has the two graphics options, Intel Skylake GT2 [HD Graphics 520] and Nvidia Geforce 920m. I think that is causing the crash I am seeing.

The game starts and menus etc all work properly, but when you actually try to start to play, say in career mode, the splash screen for the course comes up, but it never makes it to the video, instead a Directx error comes up saying the graphics card has been removed, which of course is physically impossible, so I guess something crashed.

Has anyone experienced this, and is there any way to fix it?

You need a bigger boat man. Nvd 3060
You are below the Minimum System Requirements to play this game with no issues.
You can try turning off the Advanced Cinematic's in the options and Try playing with all settings to low @ 30 fps to help diagnose the problems. if problems still exist at lowest settings,
1. go into Nvidia Control Panel and turn off Anti Aliasing and FAA for this game only under Global>Programs>EA Directory Path to pgatour.exe.
2. go into Nvidia Control Panel and Turn Maximum Performance on for this game under Global>Programs<EA Directory Path to pgatour.exe
*3. go into Nvidia Control Panel and make sure this game is Running your Dedicated Graphics Card under Global>Programs>EA Directory Path to pgatour.exe
*Your Dedicated Graphics card is listed in the setting as "OpenGL Rendering GPU"

Good Luck and Happy Golfing.
