NVidia 531.68 bad driver
For those of you having allot of issues like dx hangs and bad graphical artifacting on 30 seires. Try and rollback to 531.61. I just played a round on Career mode and I didn't have any crashes or artifacting like I did with 531.68

Edit: Reinstalled 531.68 and everything is good now. My drivers may have got corrupted.

Conspiracy theory.... Would you be surprised if it was done on purpose given that EA Sports PGA tour 2023 isn't on their game ready list of drivers. However, my game works fine.

No problems here either. Do you use
Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to completely clear out the driver your replacing first before installing an fresh set of drivers?

I refunded this game on day 1, and am going to wait a while before trying it again, but I'm using this driver on all other games with no problems at all.

I was having lock up in game, at least one every round until I updated to the latest NvidiA DRIVER, released 4/18/23...I ave had no crashes since.

NVidia 531.68 i cant play ALT or SKINS in a private match. Oh wait they did not add that to this game. Never mind i guess the driver is working just fine then.
