Owned all the Tiger Woods games, and this game is awful.

Uninstalled it after an hour. Would of given it more time but the stuttering graphics put me off.

This plays NOTHING like the Tiger Woods games, and maybe i was wrong to assume it would.

170 hours in PGA 2K21, and just bought PGA 2K23 and put 10 hours in the last couple of days. Now those games are fun, those games can play VERY similar to the old TW games if you messa round with the settings.

Honestly if you want that old TW feel, play the 2K games.

I doubt you played long enough to gain skill points for your golfer. It becomes much better game to play and control once you do that. As far as the stuttering, that could be several factors. Maybe there’s an issue EA will address in a patch soon

Honestly the 2k23 play better because they ACTUALLY DEVELOPED IT FOR PC you can use a keyboard and a MOUSE I quit using a controller when i turned 20.

Well to be honest i use a controller with the 2K games, and they play great on controllers.
The old style 3 click system is very archaic ironically.

Controller feels bad with this game. And whats with the weird camera angles and super zoomed in perspective?, awful.

Again maybe i was wrong to expect it but i honestly thought it was a given that this new PGA game from EA would play like the Tiger Woods games with better graphics. How wrong i was.

I'm not a 2K fanboy like some on here are trying to suggest if you prefer the 2K games, but 2K gets it, they honestly designed their golf games on the TW games, with a few little differences here and there.
Not sure what EA were going for with this game but they got it wrong imo.

This is the conundrum with golf games... As an avid golfer this is the first game since links that has realistic ball physics. On sim, it is very difficult and brings into play a *lot* of realistic golf decisions.

Yet, the broader audience actually does want something where they can birdie every hole. So what can you do really

just bought the game even though it doesnt support 32;9. I'm on a 13900k/4090 and the game frequently stutters while in-game. The menu u.i is clunky, probably going to refund before 2 hr limit. I'll add that pga 2k3 Does support 32:9 and runs a lot smoother.

if you never play golf in your life I mean real golf not 2 twice a years this game is more close then ever golf has been I`m tired to see peoples want to play and make an albatros almost on every hole this is not golf and have a score of -22 on every games time to wake up guy you don`t like it cause all of the above time to go out and try to play golf on the real golf course and tell how you do it at the end I`m sure you are not breaking 90 shots even if you break 100 I played golf for the last 28 years and my hand . was +4 so be realistic this is the real Mc coye stop playing arcade doesn`t get you better when is time to play a simulation game

Interesting. One of the most common "EA is rubbish" reason is that you have to play with a controller. I was playing 2K21 with a mouse and did not realise many were playing 2K23 with a controller.

I might give 23 a chance now my golfing fire has been rekindled but the chance to buy 16,000 VC for £89.99 really, really makes me rethink.

I can't give money to those sort of people. EA would never do that sort of thing...

Bar the challenges not working after the update i'm enjoying the game.... its tough but getting a feel for it more and more. its refreshing to work for something rather than smash everything from the off.

Sorry for your loss. It's a great game so far, they're having a bug issue today... and they'll fix it. Happens to every game in online era.

Compared with current gen consoles, the 20 series GPUs are high end. The hardware in the consoles is serval years old too. It's the developers fault to not optimize the game for PC Hardware. This is a problem since the PlayStation 2 days, we had many lousy console ports.
