Can you reset your career progress without changing your golfer?

EDIT: I tried simming the entire thing but at the end it only lets your restart from the beginning on the PGA Tour, none of the previous stuff is available. I guess I take it as a lesson learned and start a new golfer. I still think it's bad game design though.


I made some bad decisions and skipped a ton of events in the beginning. I'm wondering if I can reset the entire career progress without changing my golfer. I already have levels gained and stuff and I don't want to lose it. At the same time I missed a lot of the early events.
