mad frustrating
this games a joke, caddy should be fired, overshooting undershooting, fairways and greens made of ice, cary a ball 240, total distance 389 yards. imposible dificulty, adjusting dificulty settings doesnt do anything, just ridicoulis, runs awful, and my PC isnt a slouch, do better EA

will be writing a negative review once i can.

I've been playing Pro difficulty on PS5. Have you used any of your skill points? When setting up the shot do you use a different shot type or club other than the default one? There's many other things that you may or may not be doing. I'm certainly no expert, but haven't had anywhere close to the experience you are having. I've been playing for three days and each round I feel like I'm improving. Not sure what's up with your PCs performance

"carry a ball 240, total distance 389 yards"

Playing a Links course eh? That's very realistic roll out. The big hitters on tour regularly hit over 400yds at St Andrews.

Will be checking out some YouTube videos of those courses, cause yes I've been on those courses

That's great!

I didn't mention this. I was flat out terrible in my first round or two. If I had bought it on Steam instead of PS5 I probably would have been tempted to return it. I don't have the return option with PlayStation. But I stuck with It gaining and using skill points was probably what helped me realize I had hope, lol. Now I'm really loving the game.

Did you win your first USGA championship and got invited to the Masters and the US Open? Augusta will absolutely destroy you as an amateur player with low attributes. No way around that. Just try your best and immerse yourself in the scenery and presentation of the Masters. If you don't make the cut? You don't make the cut. I didn't. Finished dead last on day 2.

The return of skill points, eh? That's disappointing. Guess I'll be sticking with TGC longer.

you can pay real money to get ahead in 2k23. You can't in EA... currently. Pay to win sucks and it is unfair.

there are also equipment and clothing perks it looks like on the you tube videos..thats where you are getting a video game.. single player career mode.. if they can get the crossplay/online play tournaments going well then they cover the multi player aspect..
dont hold your breath on mouse swing.. its probably much harder to implement than 3 click./
the problem with pc players is different hardware acts differently-- wonder how many people dont even defrag that old hard drive.(not sd drive-dont do that). or update drivers.. then the game runs like trash- im not a fan of EA at all but its not all thier fault the game doesnt run well on some pc's

A single player career mode that can only be played if you are online and connected to the EA server.

Not just on a links course either mate.
I used to play a municipal in the West Mids and during a dry spell, the ball would roll forever.....
