Thanks for the drivers, it does at least offer another alternative if a game you really want to play on your Deck doesn't play nice with Proton.
Valve could have been more upfront with their customers when asked if these drivers were coming though, I'm not sure why YouTubers and reviewers were receiving updates about them when customers being asked to confirm their reservations and pay were not.
PS. Didn't received SteamDeck yet.
I dont plan on using Windows on the Steam Deck. I want to see Linux grow as a gaming platform. But i am all about choice. And Valve offering the choice to use your device however you want is a great thing. Its a Personal Computer.
I don't think we are pissed at valve, I think we are pissed at users who aren't even willing to give SteamOS or Proton a try before erasing all of Valve's hard work to replace it with a bloated OS that harvests personal users data. Because we know that users are going to blame poor deck performance on Valve if its running windows, even if its not valve's fault that windows is not made for this form factor.
