I don't know if this has been fixed since, but there was a major bug in the latest version of the preview channel that updates the BIOS to its latest version. When choosing to restore the BIOS settings to default, the touchscreen stops working, and the sound card is no longer recognized by the Steam Deck. And this persists even after returning to the stable version or performing a complete restoration of SteamOS with a USB stick, as the BIOS remains in its latest version.
