SD path changed without altering non-steam games paths, breaking them all.... and also changed from the something close to: mmcblk0p1 to a long 25 character alphanumeric string. Beta group enrolled.
Looks like a really solid update that fixes many things I just hope no update breaks DeckyLoader moving forward. Thanks for continuing to work hard & make Steam Deck an amazing exp!

Do not update, I’m stuck with my deck not coming on. It came on after I left it to run all night

Important! SD CARD USERS:

SteamOS 3.4 has just released to stable by Valve. After you install it - they have changed the path for the SD Card mount.

This means - for `example /run/media/mmcblk0p1 `will become `/run/media/deck/mmcblk0p1 `which breaks the path to games and any nonsteam games you may have added to your library from the SD card.

I just tested this in my deck, I can play games from my sd card as well as download games. my issue is emudeck
Same, I was using a 1 tb SanDisk and all of my steam game stuff was fine, very weird
for what it's worth, a quick workaround to the SD card issues is to run in terminal these 2 commands:
sudo ln -s /run/media/deck/zzzzzzzzzz /run/media/mmcblk0p1 chown deck:deck /run/media/mmcblk0p1
replace
/run/media/deck/zzzzzzzzzz
with the correct path to your SD card, for example, you can type
/run/media/deck/
and press <tab> once and it should autocomplete the path. works fine with emudeck stored on SD card, should work with other stuff too, good luck!

I was actually playing and they were playing find after the update, but they said that they update "newer snapshot of Arch Linux" this is beneficial for us they just have to tuned. Now I dont know if emudeck have to create a new update for us or valve need to fix it.
I'm assuming everything will be fine once valve rolls back the SD card changes of this update
yes,yes it did
