Official SteamDeck Dock does not detect monitors in Windows

things to note

- i dual boot steam os and windows

- dock works fine in steam os

- ive reset the dock

- i do have all of the windows drivers(but i cant open the AMD control panel)

- displays either say NO SIGNAL or sometimes OUT OF RANGE

- i have both an HDMI display and a DisplayPort display plugged in(exact same display model, neither work)

- i have contacted steam support, but i'm skeptical that they can help

The displays are SOMETIMES detected by Windows, however, if I try to enable them it just says that something went wrong. They do NOT flash even when attempting to enable them.

Yes, I do actually use the linux desktop and it's great, but I just need Windows because of compatibility.

Anyone know a fix?

I got the same issues with my windows running on a SD-Card.
Sometimes the display will be recognized but without audio and
sometimes it doesn't work at all. (behavior is not very consistent)
Did you find a way to fix it or do we have to wait for updates for the docking station?

I asked around in the WinDeck Reddit, and still got nothin. Just gonna wait for valve to hopefully one day officially support dual booting, or fix this issue all together.

Got the same problem. Using Windows 11 to go and when I plug both my monitors in both turns off. 1 plugged in work. Pretty annoying since I need Windows for a project. SteamOS both monitors work no problem. Valve please fix! 🙏🏼
