How to check Docking Station firmware version, HDMI audio not working
I can't get audio to play through the Steam Docking Station when everything is connected (HDMI). I've followed some guides/discussion threads but I can't get the sound to work. It did work at one time, but suddenly now it doesn't. I hadn't tried it in about 5 days until today and I'm wondering if there's a firmware update.

How do I check the firmware version of the steam deck and what the latest version is supposed to be?

If you go to Settings->System, and scroll down to the ‘About’ section, you’ll find the Dock’s firmware version at the bottom of the list.

Right now, I’m running version 0.13.15.106. As soon as I plugged in the Dock (the first time), I was prompted to update firmware, which went fine).

Thank you for the information! For whatever reason I tried it today and got the update and now it's working on my TV.
