Plex htpc letterboxed

So for whatever reason when trying to use Plex htpc while docked it shows up surrounded on all sides by black bars. I can change the resolution but that only affects the clarity inside the balck bars and does not get rid of them. Any one else have the same issue?

Super late, but I have been looking for what is causing this as well, were you able to figure it out?
