Steam soundtracks as menu background music

We have our Steam soundtracks available on the Deck, with its very own menu tab and section within the triple dot menu button. This is great to have, but it'd be even more useful if you gave us the ability to set a specific soundtrack as background menu music.

In other words, that soundtrack would automatically start when booting/waking your Deck, and would play quietly in the background while you idle on the menu. When you play a game, it auto-pauses, and then auto-resumes when you exit.

I know Decky already has a plugin that allows you to do this but it's slightly buggy and doesn't allow you to use your Steam soundtracks for it. I'd love to use the Lacuna lo-fi remixes EP as my menu music, for example, but I have to manually navigate to it and start it every time I boot/wake my Deck. It'd be so much nicer to have something that does this for us automatically!

Nice idea! It sounds like a little thing, but it'd be pretty awesome to set Halo or Ori soundtracks as menu music.

Yeah, it'd be an awesome way to further customize the experience! If you tie that with the CSS Loader on Decky, you could really customize the experience and make your Deck feel like a special edition console or something along those lines!
