Native option for 2560×1080?
Hello just asking if it's possible to get a proper option for native ultra wide 2560×1080 support in game and desktop mode for people that have 2k or 4k ultra wide monitors that want the deck to render stuff at 1080p.

The reason being adding the custom resolution ourself isn't that bad for someone that can follow a video but saving the resolution so we don't have to redo the commands seems to be hard on the decks OS.

So having this official added would help out a ton.

Gamescope for gamemode.

I am so confused about your suggestion for desktop mode.

Thanks for this. I actually tried hunting something like this down on my own but didn't find it, if that's even believable.
But my option to have it for people that don't even want to mess with/do the simple thing of copy and paste the command lines will still kinda help. So they can do it through the regular UI settings

Just set each game resolution to 4K under Properties. This opens 2560x1080 resolution option if game supports it.

After this it is possible use 2560 x 1080 even on 1920 x 1080 display and having ultrawide aspect ratio on games. Of course it has black bars top and bottom but it just works.

This is on GameMode.
