Direct way to access a game's compatdata directory
I think it'd be nice if somewhere in a game's properties window on desktop mode there was an option to directly open Dolphin (or the respective file manager on Linux) into the compatdata folder instead of having to figure out what the AppID is through properties, then navigating to the Steam library folder, finding the exact AppID, etc. It'll be very helpful for desktop Linux folk as well.

Right click your game in your Steam library > Manage > Browse local files

EDIT: Just double-checked on my end and looks like this doesn't work anymore. Looks like the compatdata folder is now separate from the game install folder. I suppose this must have happened in an update some while ago. So, I will agree with the OP that we need an easier way of finding the correct folder.

yes and because when moving games sometimes you end up with duplicates, unable to know which one is being used
