Request: Automatically reorder steam deck controller to lowest rank on docked.

Hello. Love my deck. Thank you so much for making it happen!
One issue I've run into is that when my OLED deck is docked (with the official steam deck dock, of course) my USB and bluetooth controllers will not work with a game until I reorder controllers so that the deck controls are the last in line (typically 3).

Example: UFO 50 (a great game! or is it games?). I plug my steam deck into the dock, and no controllers will work in-game until I go to "Reorder Controllers" and move the steam deck controls to the bottom of the ranking.

This seems like a super easy fix, as the steam deck controls aren't typically accessible when docked. Forgive my ignorance, but perhaps the process could look like:
- Detect external display (USB-C) or "docked mode" (is this a thing?)
- Automatically push the steam deck controls to the lowest order in the ranking

I think this change would help a lot of newbs (like my wife and son) who were very confused by this issue when plugging the deck into the dock to play some games - even with a USB controller, it is still an issue!

That's my idea, it may have been suggested already. But I figured I could make this post in case anyone working on SteamOS, the dock firmware, or anything Valve-related sees this and considers my idea.

This is a great idea. Vice versa, the steam deck built in controls should automatically be set to the highest ranked once you undock the Deck , since most likely you’ll be wanting to play mobile.

Basically exactly how a Nintendo switch works.

This would make the deck much more like a plug and play console.
