Allow Joystick Scale above 100%
Problem Description
When configuring a control layout

Game > Controller settings > Edit Layout > Joysticks:
Left Joystick Behaviour > Joystick [options] > General
  • Horizontal Scale : 0 - 100
  • Vertical Scale : 0 - 100

the scales max out at 100%; can't set them above x1

Suggestion
Increase vertical & horizontal scale limits above 100%, say to 110% (?)
I imagine it would be quite an easy improvement.

Workaround
I've been calibrating my Dualshock controllers intentionally off by ~10°, which effectively sets their firmware to scale to 1/cos(10°).

In laymens terms: using https://dualshock-tools.github.io/ and calibrating stick range. Then instead of moving the sticks in a circle, I move each stick to N/S/E/W, but each point rotated by ~10° clockwise. Then saving permenantly (to the controller's firmware)

This works great, but obviously effects every other game.... which doesn't seem to matter... I just think it's more elegant to solve the problem per-game in the steam layout.

But Why?
OK, so let me explain.

I play a lot of Rocket League, and there's a move called flip-cancelling that requires you to move the left stick to 100% (up or down, depending on what you're doing)... and you have to do it very quickly.
if you move it even slightly off (only to 99%) the effect to the player's car is ruthlessly ineffective, sometimes making tricky manoeuvres extremely difficult.

I imagine this would also be useful in other games, I just can't think of any other examples

Similar suggestion: Please allow lower trigger deadzones
