New notes on Steam Deck gaming mode is annoying

I appreciate that the new version included the option to create notes for games, but as per https://xkcd.com/1172/ mentions, changes usually break workflows and in this occasion this badly implemented change has broken my game flow.

Situation is like this: Playing a game were RNG doesn't go the way I want, and the best way to interrupt and try again is to quit and restart the game. Pressing the Steam button now shows 'Notes' menu option right above the 'Exit game' menu. So far so good, that is not a problem...
The problem begins when by mistake I hit the Notes menu option and it automatically creates an Untitled Note, that despite my attempts to delete, it always leaves an empty Untitled Note in the menu. Afterwards, every time I hit the Steam Button, the menu instead of opening and highlighting the 'Resume Game' option it goes to Notes and opens the empty untitled note by default. Restarting the game doesn't change the behavior, the only way to fix this and make the annoying untitled note disappear is by restarting the Steam Deck

Changes requested:
1) The Delete Note button should always delete the note, even if it is the last one, this note has to be deleted and leave the space empty.
2) The Steam button should always default to highlight the 'Resume Game' option, it doesn't need to open the notes menu, even if there are notes in there.

OK, disregard that. That behavior happened all day yesterday, but now it is working better. Don't know what changed because I didn't notice any update last night.
So, the last untitled note still can't be deleted, but opening the Steam Menu is taking me to 'Resume Game' instead of opening the untitled note, so I'm no longer annoyed.

If you open Steam from desktop mode you can view and remove notes from there, thankfully.
