Other region language on Desktop Mode

Hi, I would like to know if other languages will arrive on the Desktop Mode, there are several games that, based on the language of the device, change the server you connect to or show you in another state, an example is Test Drive Unlimited 2

Desktop mode and gaming mode are a united thing, that is, what you do in desktop mode appears in game mode including the language of the region. I play Test Drive Unlimited 2 from game mode but I am seen the same in the USA despite only in Italy, and informing me on Reddit and in the various forums (including the Steam community) it is because the Steam Deck is set in the USA, so choose the language of the device is not enough, device language and region of use are separate

One game with this issue is for example Lego Harry Potter 1-4, if the region language is other, the game run with this language, in my case English and not Italian

You are asking for a solution with a different problem. It checks what language your Windows are set to, but you are not running Windows. The game uses the language set by Wine/Proton either directly or thru the prefixes registry.

I'm trying to replicate to see if a simple solution would work, but it seems GOG version of Lego Harry Potter 1-4 already has a language changer and people on Steam are saying that it has a language selector in settings (and that 5-8 does not). I'll try to find an original 2011-2012 version and see if I can do it.
