There’s also the issue of troll settings being submitted that would lower performance.
Also even if you’re a Joe Schmoe there really isn’t much inside the performance menu to configure at this time, and every Steam Deck user should have a basic understanding of what the options in there do (although FSR can be a bit confusing).
This sort of request would make more sense if PowerTools functionality was added into the performance menu, but again that just raises the danger level of troll presets significantly. For the time being it’s better to just look online for posts by users telling you what settings to use.
Also before Valve goes making another UI to manage more community generated content, they need to fix the one they already have for controller configurations. The browser for community controller configs is abysmal.
