Remote Play HDR
Why is this not a thing?

I just tried playing The Last of Us on my SD OLED and it doesn't run too good so I tried using remote play from my PC and while it did play much better, the HDR on my PC isn't being streamed over to my deck.

The bright and dark areas on my pc are normal but on the SD they are crushed and are SDR.

It would be great if Valve added support for streaming HDR remote play.

I'm having this issue as well. BOI and BLOPS 3 were WAY too dark. Monitor is alienware qdoled, and steam deck is oled. I have windows auto hdr on.

Valve is probably working on it. Support HDR is a top to bottom affair across the whole software stack.
