Custom Fan Curve Settings

Since the 'Fantastic[github.com]' stopped working and seems to have discontinued development, could we finally have a native function to control the Fan Curve? - to be able to set something between the aggressive turbine of the "old fan curve" and the toaster of the "updated fan curve"?
I mean why that "updated" fan curve isn't just spinning at lower RPM till needed? - also don't forget Hysteresis, like the Fantastic Dev sadly did :-( (i would love to set this up for both rampup and slowdown individually, as i prefer having a shorter delay when the fan needs to rampup but a longer delay before it slows down again - ideally it would gradually spinup/-down the fan too)
