Family sharing - only show my games / hide shared games

Since I've enabled family sharing on my Deck, I now see games from both libraries within the library view, with nothing to indicate which games are mine without selecting the game. There doesn't even seem to be an equivalent to the "Group by Library" option that exists on desktop. This makes it a little annoying looking for games to play in my library if I only want to look for games that I actually own.

I would love to see an option to only show my own games when browsing my library.

The library could definitely do with a filter option for shared games, as well as an icon or similar on a library item if that item is shared. I've just shared my library on my wife's Deck and the lack of any filtering/indication of shared games has made it especially difficult for her to easily choose what to install or play, or which shared games to consider buying to be able to play when I'm in-game.

I second this. My Backlog collection is now filled with hundreds of games that I don't care about.

on this note of library filters.. does "activity" sort just by played / downloaded or is it combo with purchased. I'd like a separate "by date purchased (old/new)" because steam sales might have multiple purchases without interaction or downloading to flag as "recent"

While I would strongly prefer having this in Steam itself it can be done with the "tabmaster" decky plugin. Just be aware that both can result in boot problems on updates (especially if you don't use stable Steam/SteamOS). Don't do it if you don't feel confident in handling them.

Yes PLEASE make an equivalent sort to the desktop app and an indicator for shared items (aside from the number of copies when > 1). What a nightmare it is to browse my library now... 😬

very frustrating oversight, i’d really like the ability to view only my own library on deck without hiding individual games or disabling family sharing outright
