Report a translation problem
First, USB only. While the controller can connect over USB or Bluetooth, the audio port only works over USB. Though maybe it also works if you have the official dongle. I don't, so I can't test that.
Second, you need to plug something in for it to even show up. While my PS4 controller would happily always advertise its audio port when connected, the Xbox controller only seems to want to show it when something's plugged in.
The functionality is at least partly there, so for something like this I don't see why it shouldn't be supported.
