Keyboard Meta Key as Guide in Gaming Mode
When a keyboard is connected and used in Gaming Mode, the meta key (or Windows key or whatever) should be used as a guide key.

Context:
I've been able to use the Deck to great success in college using a containerized Fedora via systemd-nspawn, a highly recommended keyboard no larger than the Deck[www.microsoft.com], a particular D-Brand case with a magnetic kickstand, and Konsole from within Gaming Mode, mostly in tandem with Microsoft Edge.

However, I have to lay my hands upon the Deck to, at least, open the overlay so I am able to switch from applications. This gets really tiring, really fast. Fast enough where I'd rather open the slides on my considerably smaller and kickstand-less phone.

(I prefer to use gaming mode over desktop in this case because of screen real-estate, Steam Configurator, the development of applications under a Wayland compositor, Microsoft Edge's hardware acceleration under Wayland, limiting TDP and GPU clock speeds, and how I just really like the Steam Deck UI.)
