Resolution override for non-Steam games
I've set up Pegasus Frontend as a launcher for the wide variety of emulation Flatpaks to run my retro game collection. It's not a one-click solution like EmuDeck or RetroDeck; it was manually configured and I've had it for years, so I just copied it over. It works pretty well, but it's locked to a virtual 1280x800 resolution on external monitors, and I can't change it like I can for Steam games. Can this feature be added to non-Steam games and apps?

Yes please! I have a lot of non-steam games installed that I would also like to specify docked resolution of.

This feature would be nice to see. Especially with games in Heroic, or stuff like Discord or Microsoft Edge that don't take up the whole screen estate.

I don't know why the beta chanel still doesn't have this.

+1, also add ability to change refresh rate as well on game mode like you can on desktop mode when connected to external displays.

+1 Yes please.

I have many non-steam games that letterbox themselves, so a forced resolution would do wonders.

This would also be an important feature for me as well.

If you feel like tinkering a little, maybe try this one out.

I tried that 2 days ago. I had a bad experience overall. It makes the game or app not even run. When you try to revert the command, it doesn't do it correctly and you have to re-add the shortcut to steam from desktop mode.

It seems like the Steam Plugin is bugged. Most plugins are listed as Legacy too, which doesn't give me too much hope for Steam Plugins right now.
